Arras School of Agriculture. Inaugurated on December 13, 1924, it replaced the former Berthonval agricultural school, which was destroyed during the Great War. It was established in Tilloy-lès-Mofflaines, near Arras station. In 1926 it became a regional school, preparing students for state schools under the direction of Léopold Malpeaux. Much later it became Campus agro-environnemental 62.
The Berthonval farm, transformed into a practical agricultural school in 1885, trained some 700 "Berthonvalian" students until it was destroyed in May-June 1915 during the Second Battle of Artois in World War I. All that remains of the ruins are a few stones, including one laid on March 18, 1922 by the Minister of Agriculture, in the presence of director Léopold Malpeaux and other officials, at the new school in Tilloy-lès-Mofflaines.
