Obverse: Royal arms; all around inscription in Khmer alphabet:
Reverse: "SISOWATHMONIVONG ROI DU CAMBODGE" in a circle, with half-suns and rays at the top and bottom; around a wreath of oak on the left and laurel on the right.

This medal was established by King Sisowath Monivong in 1928. It was conferred upon individuals in recognition of meritorious service to the King or the Royal Household. It was also awarded in commemoration of events associated with the King.
