In 1832, France supported Belgium by participating in the Siege of Antwerp, which was part of the aftermath of the Belgian Revolution. The siege aimed to remove Dutch forces from the Antwerp Citadel. While the French military played a key role, the Belgian army also participated, though they were not directly involved in the fighting within the Citadel itself.
