The Koszalin series of royal medals according to Jan Matejko's post is the most beautiful and impressive, and stands out among other thematically similar series.
The medals were designed and made by Ewa Olszewska - Borys, who is a Winner of the J. Sanford Saltus Award for Outstanding Achievements in the Art of Medal Making, awarded by the American Numismatic Society in New York. Ewa Olszewska-Borys is the first Polish recipient of this award (1993).
