The Siege of Antwerp in 1832 was part of the Belgian Revolution and took place from November 15 to December 23. The French army besieged a fortress in Antwerp, defended by a Dutch garrison, to force recognition of Belgian independence. The siege ended with the surrender of the fortress and the withdrawal of the Dutch troops.
