The Koszalin series of royal medals according to Jan Matejko`s post is the most beautiful and impressive, and stands out among other thematically similar series. The medals were designed and made by Ewa Olszewska - Borys, who is a Winner of the J. Sanford Saltus Award for Outstanding Achievements in the Art of Medal Making, awarded by the American Numismatic Society in New York. Ewa Olszewska-Borys is the first Polish recipient of this award (1993).
