State Clothing Factory No. 7 in Piława Górna; Piława Clothing Industry Plant in Piława Górna; Bobo Clothing Industry Plant S.A. in Piława Górna (1945–1999)
Due to difficulties in selling the existing product range, in 1956 the factory began producing children`s and sports clothing. In 1964, children`s clothing and underwear accounted for 90% of total production. By Order No. 34/0/67 of the Minister of Light Industry of September 20, 1967, regarding the change of names of state-owned enterprises grouped in the Clothing Industry Association, the name of the plant was changed to: Zakłady Przemysłu Odzieżowego “Bobo” in Piława Górna. The name “Bobo” was coined by Bolesław Olszewski, the long-time director of the Clothing Industry Plant - a one-word name was necessary at the time in order to enter Western European markets with the products. The name - Zakłady Przemysłu Odzieżowego “Bobo” - accurately defined what was produced in Piława Górna and for whom. In the 1970s, the company was transformed from a single-plant enterprise into a multi-plant entity.
